Dimmest level too bright

I was looking for an app that would let me use the iPhone led flashlight at a dimmer level. This definitely does that, but not as well as I hoped. The dimmest level is still too bright! Why not modify the dimmer range from off to full on? Then you could dial in the exact brightness desired. In any case, the strobe function is cool and saves this review from a one star as opposed to the two star that I gave it.
